Lanka is a small patisserie shop in North London near Finchley Road station. Owned by a former French cuisine chef Masayuki Hara, originally from Japan, this cute little shop offers Japanese cakes with a French patisseries twist. The delicate, beautifully decorated cakes are not overly sweet but taste supremely good. There is a small seating area for staying in for cakes and tea.
