Toconoco is a little Japanese cafe in Hackney, off Kingsland Road. This hidden gem is located by the Regent’s Canal. The cafe has relaxing and comforting vibes with a good children’s play area, which has been adored by families with little ones. Their authentic home-cooked style food is very reasonably priced, yet delicious and fairly filling. They make only 15 portions of daily lunch set each day, but even if you miss that, there are still good choices on the menu. The dessert menu such as Hojicha cheese cake and Matcha blondies are very popular as well. Black sesame latte and Matcha latte are also highly recommended.
